Patrick Dlamini has held a number of senior positions in the past 20 years. His was CEO and Managing Director of the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) for 12 years from 2012 -2023. Prior to that he was CEO at Air Traffic and Navigation Services for three years and Executive Vice President and General Manager of Cargo at South African Airways Cargo for four years from 2004 – 2008.
He also spent six years at Transnet Limited and Transnet Limited South African Port Operations from 1998- 2004 where he was Manager, Chief Operations Manager and Business Unit Executive – MPT Durban.
Mr Dlamini has also been a Former Vice Chairman of the International Development Finance Club as well as former member of the following High Level Advisory Council (Climate Policy Initiative CPI), WEF Global Infrastructure Steering Group and Presidential Climate Finance Task Force (Just Transition).
He has various qualifications from a number of universities, including University of Durban Westville, Wits University Business School, New York University and Queen’s University in Canada.
